My political hero is Paul Wellstone. I admire his sincerity, lack of cynicism, and tenacity in the face of MS, which I can relate to on a personal level due to my exposure to toxic chemicals, including Agent Orange, Mustard and Sarin Gas, Oxidized Uranium and other known and experimental biochemical substances at Fort McClellan, AL while serving in the US Army. At least it, the McClellan toxicity, has finally been in the news. I\'ve been treated like a \"head case\" for years as I\'ve gotten sicker and sicker. That decades early \"psychosomatic\" premature spinal degeneration was HARD to \"think\" up, let me tell ya, but I have a STRONG brain. *laughs* I was able to use my education in Bioscience/Psychology for about fifteen years (after my time in the Army) before early retirement. I have been a political activist for progressive causes my entire life...well since age 14 when I worked my first presidential campaign and became hooked for life. I continue to be as active as I can be.
