And, it will be interesting to see if the accusations stop now, after all, Franken is still a public figure, author and entertainer. In most of the other cases, the women have come forward, on the record and in rapid succession, building in numbers even after the figure leaves their current engagement, not at the curiously weekly schedule of Franken's accusers.
If they go silent now, that will be suspicious. I wish we had had the chance for them to testify to a committee and commit their accusations to a formal record, even if anonymous, they would have carried more weight. He'll eventually tell his side of Tweeden's tale, which he challenges. Maybe these other women will come forward then.
