That was a serious and necessary expose. We need to know that they are our neighbors and the people who will let you go ahead of them in the check out line. Exposing the fact that the stereotype does not hold is important because we have to know that the ideology and people who support it are masked and present all around us.
The tragedy of cable news is that it has been feeding people what they want to hear for so long that people don't recognize real journalism anymore.
