18. A legitimate Dx of ADHD would be welcome

Millions of people adapt to it and do thir jobs well. Unfortunately they have also had to stay in the closet. I'm sure they would enjoy be forced back in if suddenly it becomes a catastrophic Dx.
A bigger problem is a guy who doesn't want to be bothered with knowing the details of his job. He has a major responsibility he doesn't care about and doesn't take seriously unless he can get flattering headlines.

Grasping for a Dx is a lazy strategy. "Please let this be true so that someone will have to remove him from office" instead of working on the ground game for the upcoming midterms.
