"balanced" part of FAUX's "fair and balanced" claim. That's all I can figure out. He certainly doesn't fit into the mold of the usual FAUX talking head. 
I doubt he reaches the most avid FAUX viewers. He's on from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm weekdays. That's the beginning of "drive time" for many FOX fans, so they take a break from FOX and listen to comedian Rusty Limbaugh on their car radios. For the retired FAUX viewers, that's nap time. So Shep isn't reaching the same number of viewers that "Prime Time Hannity" does, orTrump's favorite, "Fox and Friends", every morning. But I'm glad Shep is there. He may reach a few of the hardcore fascists FAUX cultivates as it's viewing public. His reporting may induce heart attacks or strokes to that group of nit-wits. GO SHEP!
