You should have seen his face when I first told him I was volunteering for Obama in 2008. He was speechless but not surprised. It makes me literally ill whenever he mentions he is going to Washington for business....

We basically agree to not discuss politics and it usually comes up a few times a year. He also has personal mixed feelings about Ted Cruz.

My mom said she has always been disappointed in how he turned out and how he sold his soul to the devil since when she first married him his idol in life was JFK and Robert Kennedy. She got divorced as soon as she knew there was no hope.

I have hope that some day after he retires he will someday come around.
