13. the GOP house and senate reduces itself

If your scenario plays out as is, my guess is the GOP house and senate reduces itself to another post-Nixon style exile. What specifically happens to the current persona dramatris is almost moot in that regard.

However, I don't see Trump going anywhere... he'll stay put and continue hurting the GOP brand even worse than it would be if he left before 2020.

But, like all prophecies, ours are merely guesses. If you want actual insight, I'd suggest The Final Days by Bob Woodward, or The Last Crisis of Richard Nixon by Stanley Kutler
