so I sometimes imagine what it must be like in the investigation offices. I would think they are all working in the same office complex, but I don't know that for sure.

I sort of have an idea of what is going on. Sort of. And how serious it is around there. And how everyone, including staff, is working his/her as* off...short deadlines, "no excuses," weekends, some all nighters. Memos to each other, meetings & conferences. Lots of staff. Technical wizards, paralegals, database specialists, assistants & secretaries...all highly qualified, well paid, top notch. Unreasonable deadlines, but no excuse is accepted for missing one.

The stakes are high. They're all aware of what's on the line, and their critical part in getting at the truth and not screwing up. The stress and pressure must be immense for all of them. But they know it will end some day, their job having been done. And then they will rest. Until the congressional hearings start. To them, it's not a race. It's a marathon. A steady pace is necessary to go the distance. They are also not working from a preconceived determination. They are going where the evidence takes them.

They are aware of their place in history, too. What they do, how they do it, and their ethics and reputations have to be stellar. They cannot be the ones who are responsible for one of the criminals walking away.

I imagine. But yeah...I would love to be a fly on the wall and watch them for one day.

I hope Mueller writes a book after all this is said and done. I would love to read the inside story. No matter what happens.

I've thought the same thing. Imagine the size of his Wwcd Jul 2018 #1
