and when it comes to any court proceeding, Trump's lawyers will have elaborate explanations including but not limited to that he was confused, or that he was lying to Cohen, or it was hyperbole/metaphorical, or whatever when it comes to anything incriminating he says on these tapes.

But it will give investigators avenues to explore to develop other evidence, and I suspect it will also give the public a lot of insight into how the access-journalism sausage is made.
