Is it conjecture or hyperbolic to say Kavanaugh's nomination is over?

ETA 2: yesterday, the Intercept was the only one covering this story, so we were waiting to see if any action would be taken, which apparently has happened.
In short, DiFi has referred to the FBI a letter that she has received regarding a woman's complaint against Kavanaugh, seemingly related to something she says happened during High School, which they attended together.
