8. Well you can be proud of New Mexico today

In this election we have become the most progressive State in the Union. We are the only State that is truly representative of it’s citizens and thus the most progressive state in the history of the country.

Little old New Mexico is the first and only State to elect Native Americans. We have gone further than that though in breaking the record by a factor of 2. We have elected the first two House Democratic Native American representatives who also happen to be the first women Native Americans ever in Congress.
