In reply to the discussion: AOC has something to say about her older House colleagues [View all]LiberalLovinLug
(14,174 posts)whenever I hear the snide back handed compliment like that, it usually means the person can't find any actual argument against the person attacked. I hear this kind of reaction more from the right.
The age difference between myself + oldest House members is ~60yrs.
For better or worse, young people will live in the world Congress leaves behind.
Thats why I focus on our future: addressing climate change & runaway income inequality, ending school-to-prison pipelines, etc.
Unless there's some factual problem with these statements?
Is there such an extreme age difference?
Will it be young people that inherit the planet and its environment?
Should AOC be focusing on the future?
Here's another question. Do you actually believe,.......really.......that AOC's purpose was to specifically attack Democratic elders in the House? And it wasn't a general comment that more needs to be done by her generation? And if there was any veiled criticism it was a general opinion on ALL politicians from that generation?
Another question, why do some on here find any excuse they can to disparage the more popular and vocal Democrats and their allies? What good does that actually do?
