This does not mean I agree with them, but he did and still does inspire an almost fanatic following in some, and of the "I could shoot someone in broad daylight in downtown Burlington" type.
Call it a cult, call it a following, call it whatever you want, but those people are out there, they think he can say and do no wrong, and there are still plenty of them. Do not look for them to fade away or be quiet, because they will do neither.
