The person you responded to made a very valid point and you've turned it into a tirade because not everyone on here agreed with you.

Trees fall but not 12 at a time and why help clogg the river. I shudder to think what would happen to me if I did that.

Because I don't think it's OK. I just am not going to get all alarmed and bent out of shape because some groundskeepers did something stupid.

Go and look at the Google Earth shot I linked above. There are no fewer than 5 piles of trees and other debris clearly visible. The river is not "clogg" (ed) by any stretch of the imagination.

Once again, and finally for the record;

This action by the crew was obviously ill advised, inappropriate, stupid and if nothing else, lazy. Do I think that it rises to any kind of environmental disaster? No. I don't. The real disaster is, as I said in a post below, the fact that a golf course is right on the river and the chemicals and fertilizers needed to grow such unnatural grass flows into that river every single time it rains.
