Showing Original Post only (View all)I filed my taxes and all I can say WTF! [View all]
I am company OTR driver where as I am paid 9 cents for per diem and 35 cents that is taxed! I no longer can deduct any of my out pocket expenses for miscellaneous things, like paper towels, pens, cleaning supplies or other things that I would need to better my comfort in my company owned truck. If I was a contract driver or owned my own truck, I could deduct all those things. To make this thread shorter. I am one of the lucky ones and will get a refund, but only a 1/3 of what I have gotten in the past. It's shameful that this country, those on the right, bow down to the greedy, while the rest of struggle to get what we have coming to us from our tax return!
Gotta love all this "WINNING"!

Thats been the push for a long time. I think the bigger personal deduction will do it for many.
