The biggest differences are that Hitler was way smarter and he had a vision, albeit sick, of making Germany great and worked toward that end for awhile while the orange shit bag only works to inrich himself.

I think a big parallel is the rise of new media and applying propaganda to it. Back then it was radio and film/news reels. Trump has followed the old play book but has made use of the internet and social media. He’s been especially successful at that. Hopefully the newness of the media will wear off with time and people will learn to be more discerning concerning the internet. I know that seems like it might be too much to hope for, but look how people of all colors have learned to be suspicious of pop ups and unsolicited contacts. People learn the hard way.
