Frank had it right. Now with the removal of the FCC regulations that says let the market place rule the air waves, it's more a competition for ratings. Ratings equal money. Corporations own a larger portion of media outlets then ever before. When ratings and $$$ become the number one goal, information often takes a back seat. Sensationalism rules. It's numbing. Ratings and sensationalism bought us Trump. Everyone loves a freak show.
