It will be must-see TV, with evidence brought before the public in the impeachment proceedings. What many were formerly unaware of will become much more common knowledge.

Totally irrelevant. Doesn't matter one bit. Not even remotely. People who are swayed by Trump's tirades and gesticulations at his rallies will not change their minds regardless of what the Democrats do or don't do regarding impeachment.

In that case, I have a better plan than impeachment:
Democrats should hide under their desks, or seek shelter in caves, or flee the country.

You skipped a couple of steps. Before voting to impeach, the House must vote to open an inquiry.
