17. The republicans must think that the people of this nation are all incredibly stupid.

Well, some of them, the Trump supporters, are incredibly stupid, but the overwhelming majority of the people of this nation can see that the republicans are the ones abusing immigrant children.
To say its the Democrats fault that the republicans are treating these children so badly is idiotic at best.
There is no sense of morality; no love in the hearts of these foul beasts.
Their hate is in their actions, and words.
For two years they controlled both houses of congress, and yet this was not an issue for them until the Democrats took the house.

I think they would be better off to just own their vile, cruel, vicious actions.
Their base would cheer them on. They should tell the truth about themselves and tell the rest of us to suck it.

I mean, that's what they think, why not own it?
Pretending it's someone else's fault means they know they are doing horrible things, but don't want to accept responsibility; don't want to be called on it.
