this isn't even about race. It's about school bullying. No way should any school be Sharpieing some kid's head. I realize schools have issues they have to deal with, but they have to come up with more constructive fixes than this if it absolutely positively has to be fixed. If it's really against the dress code, send him home and tell him to come back the next day with it fixed, however that might be. Then at least the lawsuit would be about the dress code and not about coloring the kids scalp with a magic marker, which is pretty indefensible.
