12. I've weathered more than one eye.

The contrast between deafening wind and rain to total silence is a bizarre feeling. One storm I watched my corn field go from flattened to the west and then after the silent eye, be lifted and flattened to the east.

It sounds like the farmers are trying to harvest what they can before the storm gets here. I know my corn is ready but doesn’t look very promising this year. We didn’t get rain during the critical time making the ears fewer and smaller.

Between the storm and the tariffs I'm not expecting much this year.
