why don't you go talk with Putin, Ukraine? I'm sure you two could work something out.

Yes, like, with the U.S. pulling back, Zelensky being forced to concede all claim to Crimea... and maybe some partitioning of eastern Ukraine as well?... as concessions to get peace and not being (more) invaded. And in doing so, handing Republicans the excuse they need to lift the sanctions on Russia.

That's, to me, one of the most chilling elements to all this.
