spotted someone purchasing (gasp) the national brand of X instead of the store brand.
For a time I've thought this a sport for some, or a kind of freebie arcade game of "spot the spendthrift" for others. But I am seeing more and more of these "Reagan-welfare-queen" firsthand stories, which have a tendency to shape public thinking.
It could be just the hypersensitivity these folks have developed about any perceived wrong, and their newly discovered freedom to be obnoxious.
But I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is part of the ramp up of a campaign, because there are hundreds if not thousands of little meetings still going on, not as publicized as they were when the Teabaggers first started, fighting against their opponents at every imaginable, and invented, opportunity, people that would burn everything around them down if they can't win.
And Koch, Adelson, and their ilk only have to buy a few organizers. The rest is all enthusiastic volunteer fascism.
