I don't know - it's such a goofy and poorly thought out argument. Regardless, the point is that if you put forward the idea that any whistleblower should be forced to face the person they accuse, than you basically kneecap the whistleblower protections. That works as long as Republicanoids have the white house - but they probably aren't going to have them forever.
