4. Any impeachment would be "overturning an election."

It's constitutional. The founders, who were afraid of exactly the kind of foreign interference in an election Trump has committed when they discerned how impeachment and removal would work, sought to provide a way to rectify the results of a tainted election by removing the President who was elected by it. I guess Republicans have forgotten that they tried to do exactly the same thing simply because they didn't like Bill Clinton. Their definition of obstruction has sure changed in 20 some years. The Republican hypocrisy is boundless. They really had almost nothing on Clinton except lying to Congress. Of course, his predecessor, George H.W. Bush, lied to Congress over 70 times in Iran Contra.

So Democrats in states with GOP senators need to heat up the phone lines. Make them feel the pressure and let them know if they don't vote to remove, you will vote to remove them. Democrats won a senate seat in Alabama by getting out the vote and making sure dormant segments of voters got to the polls. This can be done.
