Which afterall is his job to see that all the students in his school learn how to be good citizens, respect our gov, challenge gov via civic debate and advocacy, and exercise a citizen's right to change gov at the ballot box--not with bullets.
Wasn't violent overthrow of the gov something that the war against communism was about? This is a teachable moment that I hope Dems latch onto and make a big stink over. Civility and good citizenship, benefits & responsibilities, are learned values.
I don't know about you, but civics was a required class to graduate, when I was in high school (class of '65). Are civics classes being cut as part of the state cuts to public education? Your thoughts, please?
