His excesses and lack of willpower have issued him a death sentence. First his abuse of opiates caused the man who makes his live speaking to lose his hearing. Now his abuse of tobacco has given him a cancer that he won't survive.
Disclaimer: I don't believe addiction is a willpower issue, but Rush does, for other people at least.
