(38,187 posts)136. Lol, I guess I need to come to this thread and take my beating too.
I recently bought a whole bag with multiple oranges in it. The horror? I guess I am going to food hell.
Oranges are apparently pure evil and anyone who partakes will be ganged up on and beaten to within an inch of their lives by people who will also hurl insults at them about their intelligence and everything else under the sun. I never knew oranges were the absolute most evil thing in the world.

OP
Fluids. Push fluids, for heaven's sake. Oranges are a natural fruit with vitamin C.

"for heaven's sake" "Oranges are a natural fruit with vitamin C." Except Oj in a box is crap

Indeed, the bedside manner of many posters here is crude, to say the least

It's still highly processed and contains 6-8 teaspoons of sugar per cup. Sorry, it's not that great.

Assuming they are not diabetic wouldn't the OJ be a good idea if they cannot keep anything

I suppose so, but OJ is highly acidic. That alone can make it difficult to keep down

Hmm I find I get extreme nausea if I drink black tea without atleast a little milk in it.

The best teas are ones you can tolerate and enjoy. I drink mostly green teas, especially matcha

Contact UPMC -- they have developed their own test. How to do it in the link --

This lack of test access is a horrible evil. Wishing her strength and recovery. Hang in there.

Sounds like she fits the profile of symptoms. I hope she gets through as quickly as possible.

That is correct, and they can check for the flu, because she sures meets the criteria for that.

Thank you. See my update down-thread, she's in line at a drive through testing station now.

I'm in this boat right now too. Awaiting a call from my PCP. About to read them the riot act.

I've read some reports out of Europe saying you don't want to break the fever

Look in this thread, you will see people here who don't think your daughter should get tested.
