18. I have been the recipient of both generosity and pay it forward., and helped out. One time,

W as at store buying spices. Asi I handed the clerk my money, the woman behind me said, "I've got this" She explained that it was her deceased mother's birthday, and shhe honoured Her mother's memory every year by paying for someone 's groceries. What a lovely idea.


I have been both recipient and giver of "pay it forward " at my local coffee shop.

And I used to get cash coupons at one of my supermarkets, but never bought enough to use them, so I would just pass them out. One time, the woman tried to give me the money. I told her it was for her, and I thought she was going to cry. It was only a few dollars.

I see such generosity and kindness at our stores and shops here, it I lovely.
