(12,583 posts)Huh? In which universe does that make sense? In which world did Fat Donnie do anything to get the pandemic under control? The reason the death count is "only" 100,000 is that once it became clear that Trump wasn't going to take any action -- other than stealing ventilators and PPE and giving huge amounts of taxpayer money to his contributors, despite the law saying he couldn't -- the governors (mostly Democrats) took charge of their states and initiated lock down measures. Once those started to show results ("flatten the curve" ) Trump declared victory (which happened only because of him, of course) and whipped up his minions to storm the state capitols (once again, Democratic governors), carrying semi-automatic weapons and demanding their right to get themselves and their children infected.
He has turned wearing masks into a political issue. And I thought the anti-vaxxers were fools.
I find myself rooting for the coronavirus, as least as far as Fat Donnie is concerned
I'm sure we can rustle up a used ventilator and emblazon "Trump" on the side.
I would say Trump is an idiot, but that would be an insult to idiots.
