(34,069 posts)12. As a former volunteer in a metropark -
even eating berries is prohibited in most public parks, let alone taking branches off the bush/tree.
That said, the proper course of action is nothing more than a gentle reminder, and letting the park ranger know so if they deem it imporant they can encourage people to . Not a racist rant.
And - the former would get you a gentle reminder from the ranger to makes sure no leave the park in the condition you found it for others to enjoy. The latter woudl get you escorted out of the park.
