I was in a crash wearing a seat belt. Stopped at a Green Light and making a left hand turn into the road where I live. Going HOW fast driving? 5/10 mpr? Remember none of the impact.
Other than scrapes and bruises on my arm, all my injures were seat belt related to my chest. When I was taken to ER, they did a CAT/MRI (?) scan to my chest alone.
Women, you do not want to know what my breast looks like. Ok, I will admit that since I am very short and thin those seat belts probably do not fit me the way they are supposed to. Maybe I need a child booster seat?
My point? It is not One Size Fits ALL, including Seat Belt Safety.
