a barrel, in bad trouble even with control of the senate and that tool in the WH. Reality is his competence is limited to using power that he has for his own purposes, not the nation's good. When we have enough power, we always show him and them up for the incompetents those who can only lie, steal and destroy well are. Haven't you noticed that? And at other times he shows himself up.
Let's face it, how's the Republican-loosed pandemic going for them? CDC estimates an additional 40,000 deaths over the next election month. And we do have a huge election coming up, so Republicans are forced to deal, badly NEED to deal.
Speaking of the Republicans' pandemic, which apparently once sounded like a good idea to ol' Moscow Mitch, the second wave of the first wave of the virus is completely out of control, ravaging the nation and growing worse every week. And now that they're forcing children into the schools (yes, congress has a big part in that decision because they could have stopped it), teachers and some children are going to start getting seriously ill, and even dying. Get ready for tragedies and in some places parents pulling their children back out, even illegally.
Wildfire season's also heating up out west and hurricane season in the east. It's THEIR job to handle all these disasters well, but our well-run government functions of Democratic eras no longer exist; they broke them and replaced them with a third-world haplessness and chaos America could never have imagined.
And regardless of all that, this battle in this war is not over until it's over and it's time to move to the next one. If McConnell becomes minority leader, he'll be longing for the good old days.
