9. Yes. He revealed the truth about our country.

Night before last, we had a couple of old friends over for a little backyard berbecue. Our friends are a German man and his American wife, both in their sixties.
When the conversation turned to Trump, our German friend spoke softly and sadly of the disillusionment Trumpism had brought to him. He said he had believed all his life that Americans were somehow a little better at heart than people of other nations, and that "it can't happen here". Shaking his head, he sad sadly that he now knew he'd been wrong all along.
