is a nightmare. I worked for government too. And we could screw up pouring a glass of water. Not really any better in large companies, although I liked working for government a lot more.
Removing 671 letter sorters isnt going to hurt the PO.

USPS has far more capacity than it needs. They won't and shouldn't reassemble the removed machines.

We have almost 3 times the number of sorters needed, and it's more when run17 hours a day.
