1. lets be serious, people around here and elsewhere do not understand how tax loopholes ARE designed

to show overall losses. its not bad business, trump MADE MILLIONS but loopholes were used to not only offset profits but show losses. Case in point are specialized depreciation offsets centered on real estate holdings and a whole host of income offsets. Its the taxcode thats fucked up. Not defending trump, buts a taxcode thats been bought and paid for that both republicans and democrats contribute to the mess. Where has been the call by any administration to totally rewrite the 10,000 pages of tax loopholes hidden in the code?
