There are a lot of international strategic ramifications to Trump's illness. The CIA, military, intelligence, Homeland Defense, etc., are probably doing some serious gaming out of all the possible things that enemies could do to take advantage of this breakdown in the Executive branch.

Meadows and the doctors may have been instructed by intelligence to keep the details of his condition on the vague side while they put into place contingency plans.

Meadows is infected with the hubris virus and cannot keep his mouth shut with secrets.
