They don't drive anymore and have mobility issues. I live out of state from my older mom in her 90's, i got her cancellation appt at Rite Aid across town on a Saturday, her senior apt only has shuttle during the week. She had to get taxi, not set up for Uber doesn't know what it is.
She is on a walker, I was lucky to reach a live person to ask if there is a waiting chair for after since she has no car. Taxi only takes cash and it was a miracle she had some. My daughter does her bills now because she lives the closest hour away. She would have taken her but had to work that day.
It worked but not easy. And we have to repeat in a few weeks.
