Anyone up for a nice story? [View all]

I need to share this because of the story about FL woman throwing a Whopper at a Burger King employee.

Yesterday, we did our grocery shop, which included a trip to Aldi. There, you need to give them a quarter to get a carriage, and when you return the carriage you get your quarter back.

We (my guy and I) arrived at the carriage station at the same time as a lovely white-haired woman. We paused to let her go first, but she indicated that we should go because she needed to dig out her quarter.

We went in, Al put his quarter in and retrieved a carriage, and walked it over to her. "This is for you," he said, and then he turned back to the carriages to get us one.

You should have seen the look on her face. It was like we made her day.

And that made my day.

Al told me later that it made his day to see her smile like she did.

25 cents and an act of kindness... and 3 people had a "feel good" day. It goes to show you... it doesn't take much.

And if you can't be kind, at the very least, don't be mean.
