I seem to remember they were cheering it on, the idea of "what happened in Myanmar" happening here.

What is that exactly? Just a coup? Not genocide too? Not displacements of refugees too? Not killings of dissidents too?

The man at the center of that - Not some guy living in a trailer down by the river to "own the libs", but the former National Security Advisor and former head of the DIA and a recipient of a Trump pardon.

Maybe you don't like what Rep. Ilhan Omar says - that's fine. I'm just going to remember we have a growing faction here in the US that wants to bring all the Turner Diaries and the Day of the Rope nonsense, to bring "what happened in Myanmar", to bring "the storm", and to bring "civil war" AKA terrorism; all those "unthinkable atrocities" to a neighborhood near you with the backing of not the fringe, but the mainstream "other side of the aisle".
