Convince their base the 'rona is only like a cold or flu. Which they believe until they themselves or someone close catches it and suffers greatly or dies and tries to say they were wrong. But, nobody is listening.

Divide and conquer their own base is how it's turning out.

Because, they're not going to change any minds.
