It's not just Shell. If you want GE to get subsidized for wind turbines, you can't complain later about them getting subsidized for wind turbines.

If you want Amazon to be given tax breaks for putting facilities in economically-challenged areas, then you can't complain about them getting tax breaks for locating in economically-challenged areas.

We are rooting to get the Biden infrastructure bill passed, but it is chock full of the kinds of economic incentives to large corporations to do things we want them to do.
