and having lived in both lower class and upper class neighborhoods I have found that to be a huge difference in how cops treat you. If they think you're poor they are the biggest assholes on the planet, if they think you have money then they are very courteous. I also had a friend of a friend who was a cop who used to brag about beating people. I have no doubt whatsoever being black would make cops act much more asshole-ish. Fuck cops, I cannot stand them.
