5. We have pet insurance

We use to have it cover everything but now only do accidents. It’s worth it. One of our dogs broke her back and we were given the following options from the VCA:

1) put her down
2) use wheels the rest of her life
3) surgery, 8-12k out of pocket

Insurance paid 4k towards the surgery.
