Your rant reminds me of the now horribly politically incorrect movie, Full Metal Jacket, and R Lee Ermey's brilliant performance as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, the senior Drill Instructor.

I remember his happy little soliloquy: "If you survive this training, you will be a weapon, a minister of death praying for war. But until that day, you are pukes, you are the lowest form of life on earth. You are not even human fucking beings. You are nothing but unorganized, grab-asstic pieces of amphibian shit!"

Great stuff.
