in this thread, and I'm not entirely convinced it's all of the healthy variety

They have, as you mentioned, a 24-hour news cycle to fill, and train wrecks like MTG make for good time fillers and even better hate-watching. Besides, if you think it's bad now, wait until the authorities actually pinch the fucker. We'll see howling and teeth-gnashing from those lunatics the likes of which have never been seen in recorded history. Garments likely will be soiled, even beyond Trump's.
