In reply to the discussion: A Win for Cassandra! [View all]Thank you. It did happen quickly. The insurance company dragged their feet for nearly two weeks, only to then say no for the second time regarding Cassandra's continued care. The day before we left for vacation, the insurance company reversed the decision and she was officially put on the donor's list. That was August 11th, a little over 2 weeks ago. So, even with the back and forth arguing we didn't lose too much time.
Fingers and toes crossed! Thanks for the note.

Wow! I hope there are several shifts of surgeons. That is a lot of hours, but she will be fine.
