In reply to the discussion: Thanksgiving 2012 [View all]I'm mighty proud of that boy. Growing up, he never thought that he'd want to get into social work .... I'm a retired social worker, and my wife (his step-mother) is a full-time social worker, who teaches part-time at the local state university. But he's finding that the education is worthwhile, and the work has unique rewards.
