I'm posting in General Discussion because none of the related individual forums cover all the issues raised by this documentary series.
XanaDUer2 and I have been discussing this series (on A&E or HULU) and wonder if other DUers have seen it. It came out two years ago and didn't make much of a splash at all.
If you have seen it, what are your thoughts about this question:
When the R. Kelly series came out, it was immediate news, and everyone was talking about it. When Weinstein was finally exposed, that too made hundreds of headlines. Likewise Cosby. And yet, this series documents far more widespread and long lasting criminal activity than any of those cases, but it has gone largely under the radar.
Why do you think that is?

Most of the Cosby story was old news, too, by the time it came out. Yet it was still a big story.

From the series, no, it really wasn't scrutinized since the '50s. Not even a little bit.

And he didn't even bother to get her permission to put her nude photos in that first edition.
