(26,154 posts)27. I think he was already suicidal and felt passionately about this issue.
He could have committed suicide quietly at home or could have committed suicide while also making statement.
Might as well have his voice heard at the same time.
He really seems to have no ties to any group, so I don't think it was truly a political statement, but a suicide with a voice heard.
At least he didn't shoot people up first.
